Engineering

The ENGINEERING DIVISION is responsible for coordinating the design and construction of public infrastructure, city parks, and water, sewer and storm water utility projects. It works closely with property owners and developers on new projects to ensure the City’s standards for public improvements and utilities are met.  It designs and develops small Neighborhood Improvement Program and manages the City’s Capital Improvement Program. It coordinates with SC DOT and SC DHEC on state projects, permits and regulations. The division is also responsible for maintaining information on the City’s infrastructure.
